Tonight on the Biggest Loser, at the start, host Alison Sweeney informed the Black Team to join the Red Team in the gym for her special announcement. The wait is over and Chicago’s own Aqua Team (Daphne and Adrian) return to the Ranch to weigh in to see whether or not they will win a spot back on the Ranch. At first, the Red and Black Team did not know what to make of the situation, but two individuals from the Red Team, (Conda and Kim) seemed to have a serious problem with the knowledge of the Aqua Team having a second chance on the Ranch.
The Aqua Team had their own personal goal of losing a combined 50 pounds in a month and managed to shatter their goal by losing an extra 10 pounds to ensure their spot on the Ranch. The Brother/Sister duo also received immunity at the weigh in since the two have earned their spots.
Conda and Kim managed to whine the whole time saying they do not deserve the immunity and rolling out their “woe is me” mentality.
At their first new team workout, the Black Team got to see where Daphne’s head was at and how her training at home was going, somewhat, when she managed to shatter half of her team’s times doing veteran trainer Bob Harper’s FRAN workout. However, as strong as she started, she finished poorly by leaving half way through their homework workouts.
On the other side of the gym, the Red Team was amazed by the dedication Adrian showed in his workouts, even was the only member of his team to hold his own body weight and make it across the monkey bars.
[The sad moment of the evening came when Adrian had to explain to Dolvett Quince why he was on campus and to hear about losing your baby girl after preparing for her arrival after 6 ½ months, and holding her in your arms…heartbreaking.]
Host Alison Sweeney took the contestants to the beach tonight on the Biggest Loser for their challenge. Each team must run 100 yards across the sand to a trampoline and bounce their balls over a wall. For each caught yellow ball, they receive 2 points, for each caught Blue 4 and purple 1 point. The winning team got to pick a member from each team to sit out the weigh in.
At first, it seemed that the Black Team had the advantage but they somehow managed to fall apart and allowed the Red Team to slip in and take the victory.
At the scales, the contestants managed to produce poor numbers making it hard for the viewer to discern which team will win or lose the weigh in.
Even with the Black Team losing poor amounts of weight at the scale (as a team, they only managed to lose 27 pounds total), the Red Team just could not get it together. The Red Team managed to whine as a whole putting the sole blame on the newcomer rather than poor habits or their body’s need to rejuvenate. So naturally, when sitting down before elimination, instead of just sticking to pleading their cases, the Red Team went after Adrian and his sister Daphne. Will the Chicago team be able to survive on the Ranch, or will their team figure out a way to get them off the Ranch?
In the end, it came down to Mark and Nancy for who will be voted off the Ranch and the Red Team decided to vote off Nancy even though she had better numbers than half her team and is not as lazy as half the rest of her team.
At the start of her journey, Nancy weighed in at 217 pounds and now weighs 178 pounds losing 39 pounds total. She showcased all of her grandchildren, (to say they are bountiful is an understatement), and Nancy jogs on her property and now can make it up the hill.
Next week on the Biggest Loser:
Since their return, the Aqua Team has had nothing but drama follows them. Will Conda go too far on her temper tantrums or will Adrian shoot himself in the foot? Find out the answers next week.
