About 15 days ago, the world was told that there would be a global announcement for Pokémon. Think about that for a second. There has never been a global announcement. When it came to everything Pokémon, Japan got the news first. They were the test subjects. They got the games, mangas, cards and cartoons first. So this came as a big surprise to all of us. I remember what I was doing before the announcement. I was working on sorting Pokémon I had collected on a Gen 4 game, a game full of shiny Pokémon, getting them ready for transfer to my black 2 version. I had just cracked the Game Genie back up problem and was using it to my entire advantage. Then I heard about the announcement. My first impression was WTF? An Announcement to the World? Well it can’t be a new game, or Japan would’ve heard about it first and I’d already know. It can’t be a change for the cartoon either. They don’t announce those. Oh, it must be a reset of the games again, yeah that’s probably it. We’re probably going to get the old red, blue and yellow versions on the 3ds downloads. Maybe they’ll make them converse with the Black and White series so we can transfer the Pokémon that we catch on the old school versions. That’d be great.
Well as I finished up my homework at 3 am on the 8th, and got ready for bed, I checked the Pokemon site, only to find out that I’d have to wait 3 more hours. So I went to bed. After I woke up it didn’t even dawn on me to check the news until later that evening, and When I did…….
