Helberg has been married to actress Jocelyn Towne since 2007. The pair welcomed a daughter named Adeline in May 2012. The actor first began appearing as the wannabe womanizer Wolowitz on the series in 2007, which is currently airing it's seventh season. Towne debuted her bump in a draped silver gown and it was the second time she came to the awards pregnant. The couple did not reveal when the baby is due or what the gender will be.

Helberg, a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts who was born and raised in Los Angeles, is also known for his roles in the Joss Whedon web series "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" as Moist and the television series "Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness" as the voice of Bian Zao. Towne is the niece of award-winning screenwriter Robert Towne and has appeared in films like "Little Miss Sunshine," I Am I," and "Havoc."
