Sometimes something can happen at work that makes you take a closer look at everything else in your life. That's what's coming up for Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) in this week's episode of "The Big Bang Theory," 7x23, "The Gorilla Dissolution," for which CBS released a new sneak preview on Monday, May 5.
In this next episode of "The Big Bang Theory," after a horrible day at work, Penny reevaluates her life choices, which prompts her to take a big step with Leonard (Johnny Galecki). Meanwhile, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) struggle to care for Mrs. Wolowitz (Carol Ann Susi). Also, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) gets relationship advice from (surprisingly) Sheldon (Jim Parsons).
In this "The Gorilla Dissolution" promo, we get a look at what's going on with nearly everyone. It looks like Raj is helping Howard and Bernadette with Mrs. Wolowitz, but maybe someone should've been keeping a better eye on that box sliding down the stairs. We also see Howard and Bernadette on the couch in robes, drinking tea, which they'll probably need after everything that comes with taking care of his mother.
Also, get a look at Penny as part gorilla in a cage filming some of that movie with Wil Wheaton. That small clip is enough to see why she's not exactly going to have a good day at work, but it does sound like she's trying to be optimistic about the role. "No reason why I shouldn't be the best bisexual go-go dancer transforming into a killer gorilla anyone's ever seen," she declares. Oh, poor Penny.
The promo also shows Raj joining Sheldon at the movies. "Thanks for inviting me after everyone else said no," he tells him. Oh, and as for the 3D glasses, Sheldon has his own. "No sense in risking bridge-of-nose herpes," he explains.
Plus, don't forget to check out the slideshow to see the promotional photos CBS has released from this episode. The photos show Penny, Leonard and Wil on the movie set, Sheldon and Raj running into Emily (Laura Spencer) at the movies and more.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 7 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS. What do you think of the episode 23 "The Gorilla Dissolution" photos and promo?
