'The Big Bang Theory' news: Stars still negotiating contracts to return

Fall is quickly approaching, which means new seasons of fan-favorite shows are going to kick off soon. “The Big Bang Theory” has been a huge hit for CBS and it was recently renewed for another three seasons. Season 8 will begin this fall, but there is a little hang up. According to a July 17 report from E! Online, Nina Tassler admitted that Johnny Galeicki, Jim Parsons, and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting have not signed new contracts. The three are said to be in negotiations to return and there is no reason fans should be concerned.

The phenomenon “The Big Bang Theory” has created is far beyond what anyone could have expected. As the characters grow and evolve, the audience becomes more invested. Adding in actors like Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik helped boost ratings and both actresses signed new contracts to return last year. The dynamic between the actors on set and off is remarkable, which is one of the many reasons fans adore the cast.

Both Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik have been nominated for an Emmy for their roles on “The Big Bang Theory. Bialik tweeted her excitement on July 10 when the announcements were made. Parsons doesn't use Twitter, but he was given a shout out by many of his co-workers and friends. In fact, the show was nominated in several different categories. It appears Season 7 was good to them!

Season 8 of “The Big Bang Theory” is set to return to CBS this fall. There will be plenty more laughs for fans, while also allowing for some tender moments. While the three biggest stars of the show aren't under contract yet, it doesn't look like they will disappoint their fans. Rumors are that the trio could end up making a million dollars per episode this season, which sounds like a promising deal.
