‘The Big Bang Theory’ marriage troubles: Bernadette cuts Howard off financially (Video)

Bernadette tightened the purse strings on Howard on the Jan. 31 episode of “The Big Bang Theory.” By the time the episode, titled “Cooper-Kripke Conversion” aired, over 50,000 people had already “liked” a sneak photo of the newly married couple shared on the official “Big Bang” Facebook page on Jan. 31.

The trouble started when Raj found a website to order custom action figures. Penny talked Leonard out of joining in on the fun, but Howard jumped on board. Raj and Howard paid $500 each to have action figures made of themselves. Unfortunately, the guys were extremely disappointed when they arrived.

Raj wanted to be “melt in your mouth chocolate,” but his action figure is more “dark chocolate.” Howie’s has a giant nose. Leonard joked that they got figures of Wesley Snipes and Toucan Sam by mistake.

Determined to get realistic replicas of themselves, Raj and Howard buy a used 3-D printer. Bernadette was impressed with the tiny Howie, saying , “I didn’t think there could be a smaller version of you.”

Then she found out the printer cost $5,000. Her husband countered that one of the perks of marrying her is that he gets to spend her large salary.

Bernie made it clear that Howard would not be getting any action unless he made “lady parts” on his 3D printer unless he returned it. Bernadette then took him off their joint bank account until he can learn the value of money.

Do you think Howard will learn his lesson? What was your favorite part of this episode of “The Big Bang Theory”?
