According to the cable network TV Neilson report, the second week’s viewership of “The Bible” was number one. Each episode is more intriguing than the last, and last week’s miniseries docudrama did not disappoint the viewers of “The Bible”.
For the next three Sundays, “The Bible” (see part I here) will air on The History Channel (Comcast Ch. 192, Direct TV Ch. 269 and U-verse Ch. 256) until the conclusion on Resurrection Sunday (Easter) March 31, 2013 at 8:00 p.m.
On Sunday, March 17th, the third two hour show will consist of the following: Nebuchadnezzar marches on Jerusalem (II Kings 25); The prophet Jeremiah (2 Chronicles 36:22 ); Azariah and Daniel (Dan.1:6, 2:17); Cyrus, King of Persia (Ezra 1:1); Daniel in the lion's den (Daniel 6:16-24); Herod (Mark 6); The Angel Gabriel (Mat. 1:24); Joseph protects a pregnant Mary from the mob (Mat. 2:24); Gabriel visits Joseph (Mat. 2:13); Mary and baby Jesus in Bethlehem (Luke 1:31, 2:21); Herod Antipas (Mat. 2:1-23); John baptizes Jesus (Mat. 3:13-14); Satan (Mar. 4:10); John the Baptist (Mark 6); Jesus meets Peter in Galilee (Mat. 4). If you for some reason you can’t tune in on Sunday March 17th, sorry, there will be no upcoming TV airings in the next two weeks. But you can order the DVD ($59.98) for your viewing pleasure by clicking here.
If you attend Faith Christian Center in Jacksonville, Florida, and belong to a “Small Group”, there may be more discussion about “The Bible” during your regular weekly meeting. Have you signed up for a group?
