"The Bible" 10-hour mini-series that premiered Sunday on The History Channel (and had the first full episode replayed Monday night on Lifetime) is proving seriously popular. Not only did terms like "The Bible History Channel" and such take over the top Google Trends spot yesterday, but also customers are proving their love for the series by putting their money where their faith lies.
Amazon.com is helping the process along by providing an April 2nd, 2013, release date to The Bible: The Epic Miniseries DVD, a 4-disc version that now enjoys an Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #52 in Movies & TV.
The Bible: The Epic Miniseries [Blu-ray] version is no slouch either, enjoying a best-selling rank in the "Movies & TV" category of #161 as of this writing.
Indeed, my previous article about the astonishing series has swelled to 2,550 views in approximately 24 hours and counting, with folks searching for all aspects of this timely adaptation of Scripture:

And how perfect is it that Amazon reveals its DVD release date of Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013 -- a day only two days after Easter Sunday, March 31st, 2013?
It's all falling together, and no one is more delighted than folks like this Christian TV Examiner that we've got a fresh and exciting way to see people become more interested in Scripture as a living and breathing story once more.
