The BET Experience Returns to L.A. LIVE in June

The BET Experience is coming back to L.A. LIVE this summer with all of your favorite artists! From June 27 to June 29, 2014 come join us for three days of highly anticipated concerts, entertainment, and activities for an experience you'll want to see live!

AEG and BET are teaming up once again to provide fans with a star-studded event you won’t want to miss. The BET Experience will display a three night event of musical performances located at STAPLES Center. On the night of Friday, June 27, GRAMMY Award winning artists, Maxwell and Jill Scott joins Marsha Ambrosius to kick off the exciting weekend filled with entertaining performances. The following day on Saturday, June 28, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross, K. Michele, Ty Dolla $ign, and August Alsina will take the stage at STAPLES Center. In addition, fans will be treated with a very special hip hop reunion you will want to stick around for. To end the BET Experience on Sunday, June 29, GRAMMY Award winning artists Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson will join Trey Songz and Tamar Braxton for a stunning star-filled lineup.

The BET Experience at L.A. LIVE will also showcase a series of entertaining features to go along with the concerts, comedy shows, and the “BET Awards” including:

BET Experience Fan Fest: An interactive expo that invites guests to engage with their favorite BET Shows, talent, and brands through exhibits, demonstrations and giveaways. The fan fest is free to the public and features a BET and Centric Pavilions, a music stage, celebrity basketball game, beauty makeovers plus a signature food experience.

“106 & PARK” Stage: “106 and PARK” brings the livest audience to their exclusive stage in Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE throughout the weekend with free musical performances, new talent showcases and celebrity appearances.

Music Matters Stage: Showcases emerging artists associated with the BET Music Matters initiative.

GRAMMY Museum Exhibit: A special curated exhibit of past “BET Awards” Lifetime Achievement Honorees will be presented at L.A. LIVE’s GRAMMY Museum during the weekend.

Genius Talks: BET presents celebrity-filled seminars featuring real talk on money, culture, entertainment, family, celebrity, and relationships at the adjacent Los Angeles Convention Center.

After Parties: The hottest late-night VIP parties featuring great DJ’s, celebrity appearances, and much more at a variety of the most exclusive venues.

“The BET Experience was a major success with over 100,000 attendees and we are thrilled to return to the City of Los Angeles during “BET Awards” weekend,” said Debra Lee, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks. “This year we will again provide a weekend filled with music, entertainment, and culture and are excited to once again partner with AEG to pull off another BET Experience.”

Prices for single day tickets range from $59.50 to $149.50, while 3-day ticket packages range from $199 to $399. Tickets can be purchased through the venue pre-sale starting on Thursday, March 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. by using the password: “EXPERIENCE.” General public tickets will begin selling on Friday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. through AXS.com and Saturday, March 15 through the STAPLES Center Box Office.

Both VIP packages will include the only public access to purchasing tickets for the “BET Awards” on Sunday, June 29 at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.
