The best way to take a vacation without going into debt to do it

We all know how easy it is to go into debt when planning our vacation, it's really simple, just put everything on your credit card. Then you spend a couple of years, minimum, paying off interest on that credit card. The money you pay towards credit card interest could, instead, be used to pay for the next vacation. That is, unless you are one of those really lucky people that can pay off large credit card balances every month.

Recent studies show that taking a vacation can actually improve your health, both physically and mentally! We strive to eat right, exercise, etc to maintain our health, but we look at vacations as optional activity. Not only does it help to improve your health, it also improves your productivity at work!

But what if you don't have the money to go on vacation? Well, it's pretty simple actually. You can sign up for a program like Outski. With Outski, you can plan, socialize, save and travel all from one convenient dashboard located in your account.

When you sign up for a free account, you can do all your vacation planning, including finding area information, activities, hotels, flights, rental cars, etc, all from your dashboard. You can set up and plan a number of vacations all at once, and be able to see them all at a glance. For example, if you want to plan a weekend getaway with the girls, you can set that one up. It will be less expensive than the two week vacation you will plan for later on. Once you add the getaway to your dashboard, you can then send out invites to your friends that are going to be splitting costs with you and they can send their share of the costs directly to your account so deposits can be made etc.

For your longer vacations, you can research where you want to go, cost of the flights, hotels and any activities. You can add those to your itinerary and come up with the amount of money you need to save. Once you set up your vacation savings account, which is with a FDIC insured bank, you can print out your 401Play direct deposit slip to havepost tax money taken directly from your paycheck and deposited into your Vacation Savings Account, and take it to your HR office at work. You can also fund the account with your debit card. You can NOT fund the account with your credit card, since the goal is to keep your vacation debt free.

You would be surprised how fast just $25 dollars a pay period can add up, and before you know it, you'll be able to transfer the funds from your dashboard vault, to your planned vacation, and they will be immediately available on your Vacation Savings Account debit card. And, if your wallet or card is stolen or lost while ON vacation, you can log onto your account and transfer the money on the card, back into your vault, which will make the card have a $0 balance so it's useless to whomever stole it or to whomever finds it, so you don't have to call the bank, wait on the phone and go through all the hassle of canceling cards, etc.

It's free and easy to sign up for Outski, and next February while the snow is flying and the temperatures are in the deep freeze range, you could be sitting on the beach in Curacao, or any other warm tropical island you're dreaming of, without putting a dime on your credit cards!
