This year’s super bowl brings together the Baltimore Ravens vs. the San Francisco 49ers. And whether you’re a fan of either team or you look forward to the innovative commercials, most will be in some sort of gathering. People will be celebrating the game in lounges, lofts, hotels, homes, and apartments or where ever a bunch of people can fit, jump around and enjoy the game.
If you’re watching the game at a super bowl party there are some essential pieces to a good party, the game, food, people and drinks. A good drink really makes the difference, so of course I’m helping you in creating the best possible drinks to maximize your party experience. Check below:
PORT ROYAL PUNCH (Serves 25)
2 46-oz. cans of pineapple juice
3 cups mango juice
1 750 mL bottle of Captain Morgan ® Original Spiced Rum
4.5 oz. grenadine
3 oranges sliced thinly and quartered
3 cans of Sprite for fizz
In a punch bowl or large serving vessel, add the above ingredients and stir. Serve over ice in a punch glass – or glass of your choosing.
CAPTAIN MORGAN BLACK PRIVATEER PUNCH
(For a crew of 35)
1 750 mL bottle Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum
3 750 mL bottles red wine
1 750 mL bottle cherry juice
2 oranges, sliced
2 lemons, sliced
2 limes, sliced
½ lb. cherries, pitted
2 L cola
Chill all ingredients. In a large punch bowl, crush the fresh fruit to extract the juices. Combine liquids and add a large block of ice.
Serve the punch in wine glasses with pieces of fruit.
Super Bowl XLVII Punch
1-cup CAMUS VS Elegance Cognac
½ cup X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
½ cup triple sec
½ cup sparkling water
½ cup zero calorie sweeteners
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup strawberries, pulsed in blender
Pulse the strawberries in a blender; slowly add the lemon juice and sweetener to the mix. Place mixture in the pitcher and add cognac, liqueur, triple sec and sparkling water. Lastly, add ice and serve. Garnish margarita glasses with lemon twist.
Belvedere Almond Iced Tea (Pitcher Recipe)
375ml Belvedere Lemon Tea
100ml Almond Syrup
175ml Lemon juice
700ml Green tea
Add all ingredient to a pitcher or punch bowl over ice. Garnish with lemon and blueberries
