Treat your Valentine to a special Wine and Chocolate experience at an outstanding Washington Winery. Red wines and dark chocolate have recently been proven to be an excellent source of antioxidants that stimulate the senses. (Mayo Clinic research shows red wine promotes a healthy heart). Such ambrosia can now be found at many new locations throughout the region. In the last decade seven new winemakers have surfaced on Bainbridge Island.
Bainbridge Island is a 30 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Seven island wineries came together and formed the Winery Alliance of Bainbridge Island. Today, wine connoisseurs can enjoy hand crafted artisan wines. These cottage industries use some of the world’s best grapes to create award winning wines.
The seven wineries are:
- Amelia Wynn Winery
- Eagle Harbor Winery
- Eleven Winery
- Fletcher Bay Winery
- Perennial Vintners
- Rolling Bay Winery
- Victor Alexander Winery
