The 2013 - 2014 Broadway In Detroit season has just been announced, and once again, the biggest national tours will be making Motown a priority. Six amazing shows will headline the new season, which is sponsored by Chrysler.
This season subscription series includes:
“Miss Saigon” – The classic romantic tragedy based on a modern retelling of “Madame Butterfly.” (Fisher Theatre)
“Elf” – A hilarious modern holiday tale based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit movie of the same name. (Detroit Opera House)
“War Horse” – The family friendly epic story of a boy and his horse, brought to life through life-size puppets. Winner of five 2011 Tony® Awards including Best Play. (Fisher Theatre)
“The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber” – A world premiere, bringing the biggest hits from the inspirational and diverse works of the award-winning composer. (Fisher Theatre)
“We Will Rock You” – The global musical sensation featuring the music of the legendary British rock group, Queen. (Fisher Theatre)
“Sister Act” – The smash hit musical comedy that finds a lounge singer hiding from the mob in a convent. (Fisher Theatre)
In addition to the six shows in the subscription package, two additional favorite musicals will be offered: “Mamma Mia!” (Fisher Theatre) and “The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess” (Detroit Opera House).

Why subscribe? As always, Broadway In Detroit subscribers get the best seats in the house and the same seats for each show. They also have full exchange privileges and the first opportunity to purchase tickets to special attractions before public sale, including “Mamma Mia!” and “The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess.” If preferred, Broadway in Detroit season subscribers will be able to swap their “Elf” tickets for comparable “Porgy and Bess” tickets (an additional charge applies).
An added benefit for subscribers is the ability to post tickets for sale or forward them to friends or clients up to two hours before show time via My Broadway In Detroit Ticket Exchange Program. Subscription ticket prices also include parking costs in the Fisher Theatre surface parking lot and deck.
Reservations are now being accepted for groups of 12 or more for most shows (some shows may have higher group minimums) by emailing groups@broadwayindetroit.com and using the name of the show as your subject line, or by phone at (313) 871-1132, Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Individual tickets for all shows will go on sale at a later date.
The Broadway In Detroit Series at the Fisher Theatre is sponsored by Chrysler. As part of this sponsorship, the latest and hottest Chrysler, Imported from Detroit, vehicles will be on display at the theatre.
