Happy New Year to you all!!! Here's a little late advice for New Year's Eve. Keep it simple. Its the single most over rated party day of the year. Prices are astronomical, places are over crowed, people are corny, cheesy, annoying, or a combination of all three and more. You all have a toast by midnight and then can't remember the rest of the night, yea real great time out.
For those reasons I believe that the best New Year's are brought in wit hgood friends and family at small gatherings; a house party, small bar, etc. Trying to force a good time to happen at New Year's is never a good look, because its contrived and some of you are like the New Year's Eve version of Bridezilla's.
So keep it simple, invite over a few last minute friends, buy some champagne and perhaps like me watch the fireworks in Brooklyn at Prospect Park. There's going to be food truck out there from 10pm-12:45am New Year's Eve and people like me will always have something bubbly or warm to keep them happy in the thermostat (*You figure it out) Have a Happy New Year!!!
