Phoenix Festival Theater, a community theater at Harford Community College, will present the musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas on March 8-10 and 15-17. The play contains adult themes.
Miss Mona’s Chicken Ranch brothel comes to life in this rollicking Tony Award®-winning musical comedy. When crusading television watchdog Melvin P. Thorpe ogles the Chicken Ranch as his next moral target, Miss Mona, her bevy of working girls, and Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd must buck the muckraker to keep the ranch open. A gritty satire about moral hypocrisy and media sensationalism, it’s sure to have you two-steppin’ and boot-scootin’ in the aisles!
