I want to tell you about the best kept secret in Dallas for shopping for diamonds, gold and fine jewelry. The World Trade Center is a facility that has showrooms that accommodate the wholesale gift and furniture industry. The fine jewelry showrooms are the exception. Although they do service the small jewelry and gift shop, they can also sell to an individual jewelry customer at very good prices. The building is a limited access building so a person who wants to visit a particular Jewelry Showroom does need an appointment.
Here’s how it works. You contact a jewelry showroom in the Dallas Market Center and make an appointment to visit them. Because the Market Center showrooms sell primarily to the retail trade, normal business hours are from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Individual showrooms will make appointments for weekends as an exception. The only showrooms that the public can visit and buy from are the jewelry showrooms. All others are to the trade only.
When you call one of the jewelry showrooms at the Dallas Market Center and you arrive for your appointment, one of the employees will greet you at the reception desk. A name tag will be issued. After the appointment is over you will be escorted back to the exit.
