THE BEST INVESTMENT ... of your time!

On April 2nd, 2011, I went to the most impactful symposium in San Diego. There were approximately 200 like-minded world citizens attending with open hearts and open minds.

This meeting was dedicated to the following goal, “To bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet.”

A dear friend and mentor invited me to learn more about the mission of the Pachamama Alliance in the “Awakening the Dreamer” Symposium. I now invite you to also devote six hours of your time to what could be a life-changing event!

TWO UPCOMING DATES

  • There is a symposium being held at The Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel on Monday, May 9th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (short notice!).  This event has attracted over 800 people from around the world! The website states there are still tickets available for only a $20 suggested donation.  For more information, go to http://atdwithjbmay9-eventful.eventbrite.com/r/eventful
  • The next opportunity to attend in San Diego is on May 14th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at The Unity Center. No fee is being requested.  Reservations are required, please go to http://www.theunitycenter.net/web/classes_eventregister.htm

WHAT TO EXPECT

I am certain everyone has different experiences, revelations and calls to action.

For myself, I knew most of the facts presented on social and environmental justice but grew stronger in my conviction as I was surrounded by others who cared as much as I do. I liked the method of presentation with many short and impactful films complemented by poignant dialogue. I was deeply moved by the selflessness of the volunteer presenters, participants, the Pachamama Alliance and host First Unitarian Universalist Church.  I was encouraged by the outpouring of support for this united goal. As Desmond Tutu states, “We can all make a difference.”  I left informed AND hopeful.

My wish is that all world citizens attend and embrace these concepts and/or initiate a dialogue to find what resonates for each of you!

THIS IS NOT ...

I would like to state clearly and adamantly that this is NOT a ploy to sell books, sign up for expensive future trainings or join a church.

Simply, this is a meeting to learn, listen, and decide for yourself what it means to you.
