I'm not really a jeans and tennies kind of girl. Unless I'm working out, I like my feet to be (a) in something pretty (b) in sandals or (c) barefoot.
But, there are times, especially during the transitional seasons, when winter shoes are put away but sandals can't quite yet be debuted. What's a girl to do?
The most fabulous options for the not-sporty, but not-quite-pretty, in between shoes...
- The Checkerspot Sneakers from Anthropologie at Keystone. They're feminine and floral, but you could still run alongside the boys in them. They're perfect for spring.
- TOMS slip ons - not only are they so fun, in an array of styles and patterns, but they do good. For every pair you buy, one pair will be donated. Looks like you might have to buy a few pairs...
- Coastal Rain Skimmers from L.L. Bean. They may not be track-appropriate, but they're perfect for rainy days. Your other flats certainly won't let you splash through puddles like these will.
- The Sperry Top-Sider Authentic Original 2-Eye Metallic Boat Shoes from J.Crew at Keystone. A fun new (metallic) twist on the oh-so-classic Sperry's. Nothing says spring like Sperry.
