We've seen a lot of ups and downs and do’s and don’ts in 2012 when it comes to fashion. I love a woman who is willing to take a risk in fashion but sometimes some celebrities just take it to the max and make you wonder if they have a stylist on their payroll or even a mirror. These women are no particular order. They just happen to be the best dressed of 2012.
Jessica Biel: It didn't matter what the new Mrs. Timberlake wore, she always managed to look great on and off the red carpet.
Michelle Obama: The first lady showed that being in style doesn't mean being outrageous. The first lady’s case in not only accessible but modern and chic as well as youthful.
The Middletons: Both Kate and Pippa were forces to be reckoned with this year. Both knew how to turn heads tastefully and gracefully with their simplicity in style and elegance. Although Pippa’s style might be more outgoing than Kate’s at least Kate can relate to every woman and show that yes, you can wear the same dress more than once and still make it look great.
Sofia Vergaras: This sensational and very funny Latina always knows what to wear to make her body look great and accentuate her curves in all the right way without going overboard or looking vulgar.
Miranda Kerr: As one of Victoria’s Secret models she’s often noted for her legs that go on forever. But even so, she still managed to dress tasteful and apropos as the new mother that she is and after losing all the baby weight still looks great.
Blake Lively: Another star with amazing legs, she rocked the modern look mixed with old school glam without looking costumey or overdone.
Elizabeth Olsen: Not as known older sister to the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, Elizabeth has been coming into her own style looking great in just about everything and always managing to look effortless chic.
Gwyneth Paltrow: Named ‘People Magazine’s Best Dressed Woman of 2012’ she also wore the most memorable dress on the red carpet by designer Tom Ford. Her style is truly her own and copied by many.
Jennifer Lawrence: Star of ‘The Hunger Games’, this young actress definitely showed the younger crowd the right way to dress. Never over dressed and always looking tasteful, this newcomer rocked the red carpet every time.
The Kardashians girls: As much as we want to not like the Kardashians, we can’t help but to love their style in clothes. Whether it was Kim, Khloe or Kourtney or baby sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner all managed to look fabulous and weren’t afraid to show off their assets.
Emma Stone: Always charming and modest, this celebrity made the list with her unique and fun fashion sense.
The Fanning sisters: Whether embracing their inner rock stars or living the boho chic look, Dakota and Elle are the envy of teens and young women everywhere.
Only one honorable mention this year and it’s for…Ke$ha. Now don’t worry we’re not awarding her for her crazy and outrageous outfits that she wore throughout the year that made us cringe and cover our eyes in fear but for the outfits that she wore to many of 2012 music award shows including the 2012 BMI Awards and the 2012 MTV Awards. Most stunning of all was her look for the 2012 AMA Awards. So stunning in fact that she was barely recognizable. Keep up the great work Ke$ha! Hopefully is 2013 she will give us some more great looks that will give her a new spot on the best dressed list.
