I recently participated in a writing panel over at Hardball Cooperative discussing the best and worst baseball movies. Excellent bunch of writers with a variety of backgrounds.

Interestingly it seems that movies of the 80’s were the best while those from the 90’s were consistently among the worst.

You’re welcome society; we finally found something that was at its best in the 80’s.

I went a little away from the traditional with both my top and bottom picks. Read about it at Hardball Cooperative here.

I will tell you Major League and The Sandlot were at the extremes, I just won’t tell you which was which.

If you're into photo slideshows I've got some good ones going here.
