Collaboration is defined as two or more people working together to realize shared goals – it’s also the core principal of Bent Collective. Bent Collective is an engine for collaboration with a shared goal of fusing the talents of emerging DJs and producers to put their collective stamp on the over-ground of dance music. Bent Collective is comprised of two of Europe’s biggest talents, Danny Verde (Italy) and Steven Redant (Madrid).

About Danny Verde
Danny Verde is a musical prodigy who has worked in all aspects of music: house, dance-pop production, DJ, songwriting, keyboarding and vocal arrangements. He hails from just outside of Milan in northern Italy where his recording studio, Holab Studios, has been home to many productions with international labels, artists and producers since 1994. Today Danny is one of the most sought after DJs and remixers on the international and U.S scene. He has remixed some of the biggest pop stars of our time including Cher, Mariah Carey, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga, Avicii, Selena Gomez, The Wanted and Scissor Sisters. Danny has had no less than 12 No. 1 Billboard Dance hits in the past year and a half. His winning streak of No. 1s shows no sign of slowing down with his remix of the Donna Summer classic “Love to Love You Baby,” a Bent Collective remix of Cyndi Lauper’s classic “Time After Time,” “Go F** Yourself“ by rising pop group My Crazy Girlfriend (his 12th No. 1) and a killer, sultry, sexed-up mix of urban crossover diva Sevyn Streeter’s “It Won’t Stop.” Danny will also release a trio of original productions in 2014 that skew from vocal anthem to progressive house. Currently Danny has been booked every weekend at some exotic location around the world. In the past year alone, he has already headlined Alegria (NY), Purple Party (Dallas), Winter Party (Miami) and San Diego Pride. He is about to embark on a major global winter-to-spring tour that kicks off in the U.S with the new NYC’s hot spot for men BPM. From there he breezes through Los Angeles for Momentum: A Night at Moulin Rouge, and then takes it back to Miami for Winter Party. He’ll end with the U.S debut of Bent Collective at the 25th Anniversary of Jeffrey Sanker’s White Party in Palm Springs. The summer months will see a second leg of his tour that reaches through Dallas for the Purple Party and then heads to San Francisco’s pride event for Gus Presents Colossus Candy Land. He will also headline events at some of 2014’s biggest festivals across the globe.

About Steven Redant
Steven Redant lives and works in Spain. He started out with a popular house music radio show and then quickly moved beyond the airwaves and into the clubs. Privilege, the biggest club in the world, offered him a spot for the summer and from there it was on to Queen in Paris and his beloved LA Demence (where he’s still a resident DJ). He has headlined gay pride events all over the world: Mexico City, Paris, Shanghai, Singapore, Berlin, Barcelona and Madrid, in addition to guest spots at legendary clubs Love Dance in Istanbul and Jump in Taipei. Steven has also played legendary festivals such as Mardi Gras (Sydney), Hustlaball (Berlin), Circuit Festival (Barcelona), Life Ball (Vienna), Fuego (Puerto Rico), Black & Blue (Montreal), WMC (Miami), The Week (Rio De Janeiro) and Florianopolis for Carnival. Steven is praised for his innovative sound and relentless sets that keep the dance floor pumping at all times. In the past year and a half he has garnered over 10 No. 1 Billboard dance hits with mixes of songs by Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Alexis Jordan, Kylie, Cazzette and Nelly Furtado, in addition to his hit remixes for Icona Pop and George Michael. His latest remix for Katy Perry’s “Roar” has already peaked at the top spot of the Billboard Club Play Chart and Steven was the only official producer commissioned by Gaga to remix the Christina Aguilera version of her “Do What U Want” single. Steven has also been working with some rising talent , including singer-songwriter Scarlett Rabe and LA-based soulster Gavin. .

In between the DJ gigs and globetrotting, Bent Collective have been stealing away time in the studio working on original productions set for release this summer. The guys have also collaborated on official Bent Collective remixes including A Great Big World’s “Say Something” featuring Christina Aguilera, the legendary anthem “Time After Time” by gay icon Cyndi Lauper, the new Avicii single “Addicted To You.” If that wasn’t enough, both Danny and Steven donated their time and talents to Melissa Etheridge’s new song “Uprising Of Love” which is the call-to-action anthem for campaign, which raises money and awareness for the Russia Freedom Fund to help the LGBT people of Russia, a cause that Bent Collective supports.

2014 promises to be an even bigger year for both Danny and Steven as they continue their global domination with a demanding schedule of DJ gigs, original productions and remixes. On April 26th, Bent Collective will take the main stage for their U.S debut as the headline DJ team for this year’s 25th anniversary White Party in Palm Springs They promise a groundbreaking set that will feature live artists, live instruments and an evening of musical set to remember.

Electronic Dance Music has long benefitted from the art of collaboration. The members of Bent Collective are already successful in their own right within their respective lanes. Together they promise to ramp up collaborative fusion and move the goalposts forward, bringing new energy as the genre continues to dominate the music world.

The best is yet to come ... It’s a BENT thing!
