In yesterday’s AFC North matchup, the Bengals defeated the Baltimore Ravens 23-17.
The Bengals also won seven of their final eight games to finish the season at 10-6. After last week's win against the Steelers, the Bengals clinched the AFC sixth seed. The Ravens finished the season with the fourth seed and will host the Indianapolis Colts this weekend.
The Bengals will travel to Texas to play the Houston Texans in a 2011 playoff rematch. In last year’s matchup, the Texans defeated the Bengals 31-10 in the wildcard round of the playoffs. The Bengals will attempt to avenge the loss and move to the next round of the playoffs.
While the Bengals finished the regular season by winning three of their final four games, the Texans crawled into the playoffs by losing three of their last four games.
The Bengals rested starters A.J. Green and Andy Dalton and gave backups QB Bruce Gradkowski and WR Brandon Tate playing time.
The game is scheduled for January 5th at 4:30 p.m.
