The Beehive in Boston celebrates jazz greats including Nina Simone

Honor the legendary women of jazz including singer, songwriter and musician Nina Simone at The Beehive, 541 Tremont Street in Boston, Massachusetts with a musical tribute Wednesday, January 25th at 8PM.

Most famous for her hypnotic style and jazz favorites, "I Love You Porgy," "My Baby Just Cares for Me, " "Feeling Good," and "A Single Woman," Nina Simone recorded over 40 albums from 1958 until her untimely death in 2003. 

Gospel, soul, and funk singer Sharon "Brown Sugar" Jones and W.C. Handy Blues award nominee as well as Beehive's "Queen Bee of the Blues" Toni Lynn Washington will bring Simone's music alive again along with the sounds of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, and Dinah Washington.

Arrive early - executive chef Rebecca Newell will be serving up culinary creations starting at 5PM!
