It appears from numerous reports, that the Beaumont Club, located in Westport near downtown Kansas City, Missouri, is closing its doors after 20 years of business. The Beaumont Club has been a staple in the music community over the years. The Beaumont Club has brought in numerous national acts as well as promoted the local music scene.
The owners of the Beaumont Club have not released an official statement, but a local musician got the news in an early morning message from a booker who stated the venue was closing.
Furthermore, according to KCTV 5 News, “Beaumont staff said they got an email form their manager telling them that Sunday, Dec. 30, was the last call.”
Sadly, this is a big blow for the local music scene in Kansas City, Missouri.
