The Beach Boys are set to reunite on the Grammy stage at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 12, 2012. The remaining members of the 60s band will perform with Maroon 5 and Foster the People. Newly announced performers include The Civil Wars, Diana Krall, Maceo Parker and Joe Walsh, according to a February 8, 2012 press release from 'CBS Television Network,' which will broadcast the show.
The Beach Boys' remaining members are Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks. They have not played together for two decades, but will reunite on the Grammy stage. The Beach Boys will be joined by nominees Maroon 5 (Moves Like Jagger with Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera of The Voice) and Foster the People (Barton Hollow, Torches) for a special performance.
Added to the presenters' lineup are two-time Grammy winner Reba McEntire, Academy Award winning actress Taraji P. Henderson (Person of Interest) and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement recipient Diana Ross.
Previously announced performers include: Adele (Adele nominated for 6 Grammys), Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, Glen Campbell with The Band Perry and Blake Shelton, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band, Tony Bennett and Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Rihanna and Coldplay.
Previously announced presenters are Dierks Bentley, Marc Anthony, Lady Antebellum, Ryan Seacrest, Jack Black, Drake, Fergie, Miranda Lambert, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson and Ringo Starr.
