On Feb. 15 The Beach Boys announced spring/summer 2012 headlining touring dates in support of the bands 50th anniversary. The tour begins on April 24 in Tucson, AZ and concludes on July 15 in Stateline, NV. The Beach Boys will be performing in Chicago, IL on May 21 at the Chicago Theatre.
The Beach Boy members who will be touring this upcoming spring/summer will be Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks. There are rumors John Stamos will be joining the band on some dates, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
The Beach Boys 2012 reunion tour consists of 34 headlining shows and three music festival appearances over a 12-week time span. Along with their headlining shows the band will be performing at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, Summerfest, and Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
Tickets for The Beach Boys May 21 show in Chicago go on sale February 20 via the Chicago Theatre's official ticketing site. Before service charges tickets are priced between $137-$296.
