Using the Google algorithm, we power rank the Top Ten threats to modern-day American Conservatism in the ongoing 'Battle for America'
Much of America , especially those calling themselves Conservative, now stand befuddlingly bewildered at trying to meaningfully comprehend exactly what has happened, in a relatively short time-frame, to the America that we grew up in. The rules of old have seemingly been replaced or, more accurately, "transformed" into something else altogether.
Now, the central theme that appears to lie at the heart of most civic-minded discussions revolves around what our Central government has done, what it's currently doing, or what it will do in the future. So, what happened? In effect, the very thing that the great Benjamin Franklin warned us about, over two centuries ago, lies at the very heart of America's great sacrifice: "They who can give up essential Liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither Liberty nor safety." Interestingly, if not ironically, it all seemed to have begun in earnest back on 9/11/2001.
This led us to wonder, exactly who or what, of the powers that have come into play within America, are engineering this great shackling of our Civil Society that we Conservatives hold so dearly? The answers are many, but we do have a tool in our wonders of many wonders, now at anyone's disposal, that was unavailable to any other human being throughout our history. This tool is called a web search engine, and the largest and most complex of them all is known as "Google." Not only can we, with but some rudimentary bit of knowledge, find out and understand which of Society's players wields the most influential power on that society, we can also understand exactly how much one power has in relation to another by virtue of how many digital responses there are within our vast web of knowledge.
So, by using the powerful algorithmical tool known as Google, the following list will give us an idea as to the power of influence wielded, or at least perceived, as apportioned to each. Bear in mind that these numbers can often change between one click to another on any given day, but these response numbers, on average, will allow us to at least gauge the influence bound to each.
One thing to remember, while other power rankings are typically based upon various individual's subjective opinions, this particular method draws almost entirely from raw web data drawn upon the Google algorithm only.
The New York Times - 2.35 Billion Responses
At well over 2 billion Google responses, The "Old Gray Lady " is our King-Pin du jour of the Leftist movement, and the breeding ground of Leftist Elitism, the world over. Having been around for well over 150 years, it could be said that the, declining in readership Times, in many ways, determines the Socialist battle plan against America and the Conservative movement on a daily basis. Given a Liberal rating of 73% Left-Leaning by a UCLA study, the Times even acknowledges its own brand of elitism, but attributes its Leftist slant to the Cosmopolitanism of being in NY City, right.
In fact, this is the one major media organization which jumped fully to the defense of Obama and the Democratic Party during his campaign to transform America into a Cloward-Piven spending disaster, and they remain fully behind their Messiah to this day. Many newspapers, the globe over, actually take their marching orders from the Times, so that in a world smitten with the extreme depravity of Collectivism, the NY Times bears significant culpability in making the unbelievable Utopianism blooming all around us seem just peachy-keen. The Times remains a powerful, yet weakening, threat to American Conservatism as we know it, as readership continues its steady decline, which began in 1990.
Fascinating that everything that the Times stands fully in support of, that being Socialism and anti-Capitalism, is the very thing that is also killing her. Poetic justice indeed.
2. The New World Order- 2.14 Billion responses
Coming in at number two on our scale of threats to Conservatism, the elite agenda of the Globalists continue to operate at extreme odds to America's great experiment in individual Liberty. While a massive number of conspiracy theories abound regarding the Globalist agenda, there is no doubt that the no-borders, Globalist crowd, sees American power and wealth as a significant impediment to installing a centralized, One-World government scheme, one that the Statists naively hope will finally bring world peace and prosperity to us all. What they fail, however, to fully realize is that a centralized, one-size fits all, world government would actually be nothing less than an anvil by which individualism, prosperity and freedom would automatically be hammered into extreme submission.
This paradigm is, even now, being fully realized in the Eurozone, as countries are being forced to chip away at their own sovereignty in the interests of maintaining their financial security within the EU's zone of compliance. Just think of it as Statism in hyper-drive, and it's coming to your locale soon, in the form of UN Agenda 21.
3. The Media- 1.48 Billion responses
Also known as the ubiquitous 4th Estate, the Media, attributed as the official information dispensers to society, has in many ways become one of the greatest centralized threats to Democracy since Hitler, himself. While there are yet many within the world's news network who remain objective in trying to disseminate world events in a politically centered basis, the Liberal bias, ever-present from within, has become a virtual watermark for the tyranny that lurks in the sleepy academian vaults of Leftist-speak, if not spin.
This can increasingly be seen as report after report, which we both read and see, are spun and crafted in such a way as to lead the innocent reader down a bread-crumb trail of fictional compliance in the world of the authoritarian collectivists who think they know best. This, despite the massive mountains of evidence laying all around us in tatters, which speaks quite clearly to the contrary. Despising of Conservatives, as a whole, true journalism, as in the days of Watergate, has gone by the wayside in favor of the enablement of fools.
The end justifies the means, seems to be the lockstep Utopian mantra, in these modern times of journalism, as opposed to the journalistic paradigm of old being, Hold Power to Account, no matter the ideological persuasion.
4. Barack Hussein Obama - 769 million responses
Mmmm...MMmm...MMmm!
Coming in only at a surprising 4th, the current media-enabled US President leads the way among individuals dedicated to the eradication of Conservatism as we know it, especially as a defining way of national life. This fact can increasingly be seen in the President's both stealthy and active attacks upon any and all things formerly considered as a defining and successful attribute to the American way of life. From our formerly best in the world health care system to our banking and financial institutions, our energy companies, automobile manufacturers, Constitution, military, even our religious institutions, for Heaven's sake. Virtually any and all things red, white and blue have now become bloody, pale or purplishly bruised, from the Saul Alinksy radical organizer, residing currently, in the White House.
In many ways, our extreme leader could be viewed as the titular head of the Globalist movement, as his Cloward-Piven (bring the Republic down to its knees) strategy has edged our total nationalized debt into a pedal- to- the- metal redline of unimaginable debt, at over $99 trillion in unfunded mandates. Yet, despite these unimaginable spending issues, the President puts the pedal through the floorboard in his latest 2013 $3.8 trillion dollar spending comedy, even after promising to cut the deficit in half as early as 2009.
When Obama says our "Belief in capitalism is blind faith," he conveniently omits our previous 230 year history of successfully providing a secure engine for the world's markets to depend upon, while becoming a pillar of economic might and Liberty, as well as a defensive juggernaut.
5. Hollywood - 989 million responses
While this Progressive bastion of Liberaldom actually comes in ahead of El Magnifico in the actual response numbers, Hollywood's overall lack of critical thinking skills and ideological credibility drops it down rather considerably, in our ranking criteria. Populated by a cadre of extreme Leftists, pro-deathers, and generally meaningless political glad-handers, most Hollywood types live far outside of the real world where threats to America, as we know her, lay covered under the veiled landmines of both a culture increasingly corrupted, and a world of nations gone increasingly weary minding the liberties of their respective civil societies.
Unfortunately, there are more than a few, within both America and the world's halls of power, who find the ravings of the beautifully mindless on our left coast, worthy of both attention and serious consideration, alas. So bad, has it become in a black-balling Hollywood, that actors who espouse a belief in Conservatism are routinely culled down and cut out of the population like rebellious sheep to the virtual slaughter, as the hatred of the most tolerant class does know at least one boundary in particular.
It should be noted, however, that if were one to construct a joke book populated from the ridiculous proselytizing of US Elites, we might need look no further that our talented idiot savants languishing in the cesspools of Hollywood. The peals of ensuing, if not outraged, laughter would prove deafening.
6. The Huffington Post - 404 million responses
Coming at sixth and founded by a former "Media Conservative," ( establishment Republican) Arianna Huffington, this darling of the Left set off in the late 90's to start a media website dedicated to the angst of Liberal younglings everywhere. Her media savvy proving considerable, Huffington set to ripping every Conservative value known to man. Conscripting a massive league of post-pubescent, underwear-clad teens, intrepidly perched before their parents' computer screens for hours on end, the cheese-puff munching troopers proved adept at building and attracting a low-paid, zombie-like, army of Socialists for the next generation, also now loosely known as the OWS movement, ostensibly.
Authoring numerous volumes, with Arianna's books simultaneously being the recipient of several plagarism lawsuits as a result, Huffington's postings would eventually lead it to be ranked a solid 83rd in the world for total website traffic. However, Huffington's chief claim might also speak to being the largest cheer-leading troop ever known to exist for both a sitting President and the Socialist-Democratic party.
No friend to Conservatism, Huffington has proved adept at leveraging the craft formerly known as journalism into nothing much more than a major league team of farm league journalistic fandangos in perpetuem.
7. The Democratic party - 286 million responses
Many look to former President George W. Bush as the initial prophet of economic decline in America. However, those same people tend to forget the election of the 110th Congress, which came into power in January of 2007, as being a harbinger of all things ill-considered. In 2007, midway into Bush's second term, the beginning of the end took flight, as America began its faltering decline into Socialistically inclined depravity, only to be punctuated by the Marxist's inspired Barack H. Obama's dubious ascendancy in 2009. Even to an economic powerhouse in America, the one-two-three punch of a Democratically controlled House, Senate and Executive branch, beginning in 2007 and onward, would prove too much to overcome.
in January of 2009, the Right-Wing of the United States Congressional representation was all but locked out of any meaningful congressional input. Thus began a decline which would ultimately result in the Tea Party's ascension in late 2009, as a true political power born of the heartland of America's Civil Society. Faced with its newly transformed Party rooted in Social justice and Marxist redistribution, many stalwart Democrats of old began leaving the Party in 2010, especially after the Republican election shellacking which resulted in at least one chamber going back to the political Right-Wing of America, while also providing a buffer to any further economic free-falling.
The Democratic Party of old, it should be noted, has been supplanted by the Socialists-Democratic Party of new, and a gigantic sucking sound of exits has ensued as a result. Easily one of the most powerful opponents to Conservatism, the Democratic party, while still powerful, looks to be reaping the whirlwind come the November 2012 elections.
Incidentally, the GOP came in at a resounding 615 million, when comparing Google responses, which speaks volumes.
8. NPR - 114 million responses
The "all things considered crowd," as it turns out, pretty much turns up its nose when it comes to any and all things Conservative, bringing them in at position number eight. So much so, in fact, that the government sponsored Left-wing radio network has increasingly come under fire as being nothing much more than a tool of the Elitists in power built for their own singular amusement, and then some. In parlaying their elitist smuggery to its most latent potential, enter former NPR Foundation President Ron Schiller, the effeminately qualified Leftist, who sat down to what he thought was dinner with a couple of Muslim Brotherhood spokesmen, and got waylaid by what turned out to be one of our own Capitalist Neanderthals.
Schiller, as it turns out in summary, wishes to have more Muslim voices on NPR, thinks Republicans and the Tea party belong to the same bunch of fringe religious fundamentalists who are gun-toting racists, while simultaneously believing that Liberals are more educated and, judgmentally, more balanced.
Right.
Ron Schiller was quickly forced out, having been found out, and yet the spirit of his anti-intellectualism lives on at NPR, to be sure.
Your tax dollars at work, Ladies and Gentlemen, and a singularly powerful brand of Conservative hate-mongering, as unwittingly commissioned by we the taxpayers, God help us all.
9. Occupy Wall Street- 67.5 million responses
It was an AstroTurf movement brought about by a Canadian group of anti-Capitalists known as Ad Busters, who were, actually, if not loosely, associated with the Arab Spring movement. Funded in part, by George Soros, these vagabonds of the Left began their ignominious journey on Wall Street in order to protest all sorts of unconnected things, which no one is certain about, even to this day. Demanding things such as an annual salary, regardless of work, forgiving of all bank loans (the world over) and free education, and sex, these Marxists proved to be nothing much more than a Flea Party of the Me Movement.
The political left of the Democratic Party predictably embraced the group as the Left's answer to the Tea Party, at first and right up until the movement became violent and began burning, raping and stealing anything not nailed down. Well, and even some things that were nailed down, as vacant houses have become their latest grab at anarchy. All in all, the OWS protest still goes onward, even now, although all validity has gone completely by the wayside. The impetus, however, remains, given the large number of displaced workers coupled with the Socialists and Communists who have seemingly adopted many within this movement, making them a still viable threat to Conservative America as we know it.
10. George Soros - 29.5 million responses
Coming in at a stealthily contrived 10th, and probably deserving a much higher standing, the shadowy Soros actually began his dubiously lucrative career as one of Hitler's henchmen in World War II. Soros is a billionaire financier who refers to America as one of the greatest threats to his Globalist agenda. Bankrolling hundreds of left-wing media organizations, and creating a target-rich conspiracy environment, this naturalized American will stop at nothing in his campaign to defeat America, while birthing an agenda to exterminate Conservative thought throughout the free world. Many even think of Soros as the fabled beast of the bible, and for good reason, as Soros frequently suffers from Messianic flights of fancy to his own extreme detriment.
Soros was also one of the first of Obama's wealthiest benefactors which vaulted him into his seat as President, while even being one of the first to publicly originate the idea for the $1 trillion dollar disastrous American stimulus designed to bail-out the public Unions. Soros is ranked as one of wealthiest billionaires in the world, having made his fortune by ruining the currencies of other countries in the form of leveraged hedging, leaving millions penniless.
Soros consistently reminds us of the Dark Emperor in the Star Wars trilogy, wielding his particular brand of darkside energy in the form of green avarice while even endangering his own Republic.
Virtually every single entry within this article, by the way, boasts some sort of Soros connection.

11. Media Matters - 29 million responses
Known as belonging within the Left-Wing of Hate, Media Matters has long been associated with the politics of personal destruction, taking aim at anyone within the Conservative media who might prove a threat. Media Matters was recently outed as having taken talking points from the White House itself, and then writing the prime time news content for NBC News, no less.
The Conservative site "The Daily Caller" under Tucker Carlson, recently wrote a series of articles in which personnel associated with Media Matters came clean on various aspects of what this Leftist bunch was actually up to.
George Soros is a chief benefactor, by the way.
12. Sen. Harry Reid - 27.7 million responses
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, also known as "Quirog of Greazidom," in our writings and now some few others, often belies any form of truly rational thought. This trend in non-think has inspired our recurrent and niggling belief that Sen. Reid might actually be an unknown life-form from another planet. Bottling up the Senate when trying to bring spending under control, holding up measures designed to make America more competitive, the Senator has been operative at blocking any meaningful budget controls for over 1,000 days, and with Obama's blessing, one should further note.
Espousing an extreme hatred of any and all things Conservative, Reid, as an individual, could easily be attributed the title of Most Dangerous Man to America, and would probably even grin at the thought of it.
13. Moveon.org - 22.8 million responses
Begun as a Progressive organization dedicated to admonishing everyone to just leave Bill Clinton alone in the late 90's, Moveon became a very powerful PAC dedicated to all things leaning-left and anti-American. Soros here to, surprise!
14. Department of Homeland Security - 14.5 million responses
Increasingly despised by the Right-Wing of America, and even many on the slightly Left of center, DHS shows ample evidence of ably representing virtually everything that is wrong within America's increasingly insistent disavowal of her US Constitution.
15. Hillary Clinton- 9.04 million responses
Always at the ready to usurp some position of power, somewhere in America, Clinton has become the poster-child of non ex-wives who stubbornly insist on hanging around, even while shrillingly spewing Left-Wing B.S while eyes roll across the globe. Constructed much like an industrial manure spreader, except with words rather than dung, it should yet be noted, that she we would have made a much better President,alas, than her opponent. Soros was here as well, at least until the Messiah showed up, by the way.
