The BarBri Challenge iPhone Application

What's the first thing that goes through your head when you learn that BarBri recently launched a free iPhone application? No, BarBri isn't giving it away now. However, the bar exam preparation giant has come up with a very innovative and interesting way to deliver valuable content to law students who are studying for the bar exam or finals.

Although the BarBri Challenge application doesn't have explanations, it can still be a valuable tool for any law student that hasn't taken or passed the bar exam. It's a good way to get some introductory experience with question types and answer types and you can flex your noodle in preparation for finals.

How does it work? Application users answer a set of timed multiple choice questions, which are shorter than typical MBE questions. At the end of the set, you know how many questions were answered right and how many were wrong. Here's the "Challange." When you register the application after downloading, you have to select a law school and your score is registered. Yep, you guessed it: a law school based competition with leaderboards. If law school ranking works for US News and World Reports, why not an informal BarBri ranking system related to the bar exam?

Kudos to BarBri for the no-cost and innovative distration. To download the application, use the search term "BarBri" in the App Store.
