The Barbi Twins call Howard Stern to the rescue

The Barbi Twins called in to The Howard Stern Show on Thursday morning to talk about the plight of the animals in the recent California wildfires.  The Barbi Twins, Shane and Sya Barbi, are former Playboy and pin-up models who reached the height of their popularity in the 1980s.  Howard Stern took time to grill the Barbi Twins about their past successes and future plans.

The Barbi Twins sounded a lot older than the 46 years they claimed to be as they fumbled to conference call The Howard Stern Show with the dexterity of an octogenarian left to his own devices with an iPod—but at least they were calling in for a good cause.  The Barbi Twins used the Howard Stern Show forum to highlight the lack of attention brought to the evacuation of animals from the wildfire-infested areas.  The Barbi Twins offered a few quick tips on how to load your animals into your car properly when you’re fleeing a fire, and plugged their animal rescue organization: "The Kitty Liberation Front."

The Barbi Twins say that they have permanently hung up their G-strings and our now dedicating all of their time to animal rescue.  Howard Stern has become a vocal animal rescue advocate since he began his relationship with his second wife, Beth Ostrosky.
