The seemingly unstoppable lineup known as The Band Perry will unveil the music video for the trio's top-15 single, "Chainsaw," on May 13 via CMT, Clear Channel and Vevo online.
According to a May 12 correspondence from the award-winning act's PR camp, the new video was directed by David McClister, who shot the superstar-sibling trio’s cinematic clips for “If I Die Young” and “Postcard From Paris.” The video will be broadcast on-air exclusively for 48-hours on CMT; plus, Clear Channel and CMT will give music fans a preview into the making of the video, with special behind-the-scenes footage from the Stayton and Sublimity, Oregon, shoot last month.
Per TBP's Nashville-based publicist, "A combination of both performance and narrative, the video for 'Chainsaw' finds the 2014 ACM Vocal Group of the Year coming to the aid of heartbroken clientele and wiping out the remnants of relationships gone sour. It also features dynamic performance footage of the band doing what they do best."
Newly nominated for two CMT Music Awards, The Band Perry, which comprises siblings Neil, Reid and Kimberly Perry, will continue their current tour throughout the year, then connect with hit-maker Blake Shelton this summer on his "Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014."
