Brad Paisley has written “The Ballad of Honey Boo Boo,” he told Jimmy Kimmel, the host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Wednesday, Jan. 9, Taste of Country reported.
Paisley, known for his humor and satire in songs such as, “I’m Gonna Miss Here,” “Celebrity,” “I’m Still a Guy” and “Alcohol,” has created a hysterical parody theme song for the TLC show, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
A straight-faced Brad told host Jimmy Kimmel, “It’s very exciting.” Paisley received some incredibly inspired lyrics from “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” including the lyrics, “She’s on the loose/Filled with balls of cheese and go-go juice” and “An American hero down to the core/She eats her meals right off of the floor.” In the video for the “The Ballad of Honey Boo Boo” Paisley intersperses himself into actual clips from the show, with equally hysterical results.
Paisley’s also announced that the name of his newest album will be “Wheelhouse” and it should be released on April 9. "Wheelhouse" contains the song “Southern Comfort Zone," which Paisley sang on Wednesday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Paisley told Jimmy Kimmel that the video for “Southern Comfort Zone” was recorded in several cities, including Paris and Dublin.
Brad Paisley married to actress Kimberly Williams Paisley on March 15, 2003. The couple has two sons, William Huckleberry “Huck”, almost 6-years-old and Jasper Warren, almost four-years-old. Kimberly appeared in the Brad Paisley videos “I’m Gonna Miss Her” and “Little Moments.”
