'The Bachelorette': Ashley Hebert 'upset' over Bentley situation, says host

While you obviously know that plenty of things are happening while you are taking part in a reality TV show, the past majority of time there are still some major revelations you can't find out until you are watching the show back at home. For Ashley Hebert on "The Bachelorette," this means having to sit down and watch contestant Bentley Williams bash her repeatedly on TV while making some pretty lewd remarks.

As for how she's handling some of this stress, host Chris Harrison claims she is dealing with it as well as she can -- even if she feels pretty duped by the situation overall:

I talked to Ashley the other night and she's upset and feels like a fool. But we've all been there, we've been duped by a girlfriend or boyfriend or treated like crap and ... we can all put ourselves in Ashley's shoes where you wanted to believe in someone and they absolutely pulled the rug out from under you."

Harrison was also quick to differentiate Bentley from other past male villains, mainly in that he is far more degrading to women than either Justin Rego or Wes Hayden ever were. As for the producers trying to warn Ashley about the guy, Harrison says they did -- but unlike Ali with Justin, she chose to trust her own instincts.

Who do you blame more for Bentley being allowed to do what he has -- Ashley or the producers? To view photos of this season's men, follow the link here.
