'The Bachelorette': Arie Luyendyk Jr. gives a love life update

Arie Luyendyk Jr. has moved on from his time on "The Bachelorette" on ABC, and he is now giving fans a status update. On Tuesday, Jan. 14, Radar Online shared the latest comments made by the race car driver. Arie appeared on Emily Maynard's season of the series, and he came in second. Jef Holm was the man to propose to Emily during her season.

Since his time on the series, Arie has been focusing on his career, and this means he is still very much single. He did date Courtney Robertson for a time after she split from Ben Flajnik, but that relationship did not last long. He said the following about his love life:

The show cursed my love life. Before the show, I was serial monogamous, and now I just can’t seem to find a steady girlfriend. I always meet great people when I’m traveling, and then we’re suddenly in a long-distance relationship. It’s hard.

He went on to say that he needed to find a woman that is flexible with her schedule. He works most of the year with his racing. Arie also took the time to congratulate Emily Maynard on her engagement. He 'wished her the best' on the engagement. With Arie's problems in the love department, maybe he needs to be the man on "The Bachelor" next season.

"The Bachelorette" will return to ABC later this year.
