"The Bachelorette" 2014 is making big plans to pay tribute to Eric Hill. On Monday, E! Online shared that ABC is planning a special episode just about Eric. This will air on Thursday May 22. They have already dedicated the entire season to him, but this show is just one more thing they are doing.
In this episode, Chris Harrison will host another episode of the show. It will be a repeat of night one but will also show how Eric "shared passionate and courageous spirit in becoming part of the Bachelor family." It should be an episode that fans will enjoy watching and hopefully Eric Hill's family will feel like they are treating him with the respect he deserves.
People shared the devastating news of Eric's death back in April of 2014. He was already gone from the show when he went out paragliding. Eric crashed and ended up in a coma. His family was by his side when he passed away. They did go ahead and tell Andi Dorfman and the remaining guys before filming ended.
Everyone on the show has had nothing but positive things to say about Eric Hill. Reality Steve did reveal that he leaves the show in a non-traditional manner. He is not sent home at a rose ceremony but will actually leave for some other reason he hasn't shared yet. He does also get the first 1 on 1 date of the season. "The Bachelorette" will premiere on May 19 on ABC. "Dancing With the Stars" will be airing first at 7 p.m. CST in the Oklahoma City area. Then the premiere of "The Bachelorette" will air at 8:30 p.m. CST. On May 22 fans can watch the encore episode for Eric Hill and then on May 26 the show will start airing at its normal time at 7 p.m. CST.
