A new season of ABC's “The Bachelorette 2014” is about to begin, and this time around Andi Dorfman will be handing out roses. Eric Hill is one of the bachelors participating this season, and sadly his name has been very much in the headlines lately due to his tragic and sudden death after filming. Many are anxious for “The Bachelorette” spoilers detailing how long he lasts on the show, and on Thursday Reality Steve's spoilers broke down the details.
Eric Hill gets Andi Dorfman's first one-on-one date this season during episode 2. Reality Steve's spoilers indicate that Andi and Eric head to Ventura Beach where she was snapped donning a white crochet bikini while the two got cozy in the sunshine. At one point Eric scooped her up in his arms and flipped her over and later they played some table tennis. During another portion of the date they went to Big Bear via helicopter and did some skiing. Hill got a rose.
Hill went on the group date in episode 3 where the men and Andi sang with Boyz II Men. Eric was on the group date again in episode 4, which involved a basketball game. This is the episode where Eric Hill went home according to Reality Steve's spoilers. What caused Dorfman to send him the guy who got her first date?
“The Bachelorette” spoilers from Steve aren't breaking down all of the details of Eric's elimination quite yet, though he has shared that Andi chose to send Eric home prior to the rose ceremony. Steve has also indicated that “it wasn't the most positive exit we've ever had,” but he's holding off on saying much more until he sees how ABC showcases the exit. Given Eric Hill's death shortly after he left filming, it seems the show will likely edit his experience on the show to be a mostly positive one.
So why did Andi Dorfman send home Eric Hill? The circumstances shared via Reality Steve's spoilers would leave many to suspect it was one of those “right reasons” or “I'm just not that in to you” situations, and perhaps Eric was a bit vocal in his reaction. Steve previously said that it wasn't anything too awful, like Kalon's exit on Emily Maynard's season, but something outside the norm did go down.
Just who does Andi Dorfman pick? Fans will have to stay tuned for “The Bachelorette” spoilers on that one. Though it's not clear just yet how ABC will handle Eric Hill's time on the show given his untimely death, the network has said that the season will be dedicated to him. Tune in to ABC's “The Bachelorette 2014” with Andi Dorfman beginning on May 19 to see how it all plays out this season.
