“The Bachelorette” 2014 wrapped up episode 2 this week and now fans have been informed that they won’t have to wait quite as long for more dating fun! Reality Steve took to his blog and revealed on Tuesday more information about the sudden scheduling changes that ABC has made for episodes 3 and 4. Episode 3 will now air on Sunday night and Episode 4 will air on Monday.
There was a lot of speculation at first as to why ABC would suddenly air these episodes back-to-back. Wet Paint shared their thoughts on the subject as well. They reminded everyone that Sunday episodes did not draw in great ratings so everyone was baffled why ABC would do this again.
Reality Steve originally thought the change had something to do with honoring Eric Hill. This appears to not be the case. He has now said that he believes the change was made due to an upcoming Diane Sawyer interview with Hilary Clinton. The interview will air on June 9 and so a two hour episode of “The Bachelorette” just wouldn’t fit the time slots available.
Since a new episode will not be airing on June 9 the final rose ceremony should still air as originally scheduled on July 28. This will also allow the premiere of “Bachelor in Paradise” to air on August 4 as planned.
Fans remember to double check your DVR’s to make sure you don’t miss out on episode 3 airing Sunday night! The two upcoming episodes appear to be packed with drama and romance and includes an appearance by Boyz II Men. There is also rumors that one of the guys may still have a girlfriend.
“The Bachelorette” airs Monday nights on ABC with the exception of this coming Sunday. Tune in and see if Andi Dorfman is closer to finding the man of her dreams.
