'The Bachelorette' 2014: Andi Dorfman talks about death of Eric Hill

Eric Hill

Tonight on a new episode of "The Bachelorette" 2014 viewers saw Eric Hill make his departure. On this Monday night episode, they decided to skip the rose ceremony and talk about Eric. Andi Dorfman sat down with Chris Harrison to talk about this amazing man who lost his life since he left the show.

As CNN reported, Eric Hill died in a paragliding accident after he left the show. He lived his life to the fullest and passed away while out on another adventure. Eric hit the hill as he was coming down and then ended up in ICU for a couple of days before he died.

Tonight Chris and Andi talked about Eric Hill and what an amazing guy he was in his life. Andi Dorfman was emotional the second that they started talking about it all. It was a difficult time for them. Andi said that it was devastating to deal with this and that this entire season is dedicated to him. They are all continuing to deal with his loss.

Chris said that even though he was only on the show four weeks he was a central figure of the show. He caught Andi's eye right away and even got the first one on one date. She said he had charm and pushing boundaries was the way he lived his life. Andi shared that she had more openness with other people and that was what the problem with them was honestly.

Andi says that the way that Eric left is not the ideal last talk to have with someone. She had kind of expected to get to talk to him on "The Men Tell All" when he came back but now she doesn't get that chance. She thinks everything would have been fine between them if they had that chance. He passed away while she was doing the hometown dates and ABC did pull her aside and tell her about everything. You can hear more about the show talking to Andi at this link. She explained this is a family and she feels like she lost family.

Don't miss "The Bachelorette" 2014 on Monday nights on ABC. This entire season has been dedicated to Eric Hill. He is greatly missed by many people.
