With the finale of "The Bachelor" 2013 in the books, spoiler king Steve Carbone made good on a previous promise on March 12 by revealing the first of new "Bachelorette" Desiree Hartsock's potential suitors.
Carbone, who is better known by the moniker Reality Steve, posted the names and photos of eight potential competitors for Hartsock's hand in marriage in his popular TV blog. He noted that although some of them may not make the cut and appear in the show when it premieres on May 20, all eight "have left for filming" in Los Angeles.
The guys named include sales reps Brooks Forester and David Insogna, opera singer Erik Bryan, single dad Ben Scott, former minor league baseball pitcher Chris Siegfried, high school football coach Trevor Love, drilling engineer Zak Waddell and emergency physician Larry Burchett.
Hartsock, a 26-year old bridal stylist from Los Angeles, was sent home by Sean Lowe following a near-disastrous hometown date. She was officially named the star of "The Bachelorette" 2013 at the close of the March 11 "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose" special on ABC.
At least one former "Bachelorette" was thrilled to see Hartsock get the nod. Early on March 12, Ali Fedotowsky tweeted the pretty brunette with her congratulations, writing "Congrats @DesHartsock ! Been rooting for you all along! You're going to be a fantastic Bachelorette. Reach out anytime if you need advice :)."
"The Bachelorette" 2013 will air on ABC beginning May 20.
