Despite a claim made in the Aug. 21 issue of In Touch Weekly that there's already trouble in "The Bachelorette" 2013 Desiree Hartsock's cozy Seattle paradise, the bridal stylist insisted that she and fiance Chris Siegfried are doing fine via an Aug. 21 tweet to followers.
Hartsock, who accepted a heartfelt marriage proposal from Siegfried during the long-running reality show's Aug. 5 season finale, tweeted in response to a magazine cover and article asserting that the two had already ended their budding romance, writing "Wow! Crazy what can be made up."
Citing unnamed sources, the article claimed that a "dramatic change in... lifestyle" and a loss of interest in one another prompted the pretty pair to break up shortly after Hartsock relocated from Los Angeles to Seattle over the weekend of Aug. 10.
From outward appearances, however, Hartsock and Siegfried look happy to be together in their new home. At the request of head coach Pete Carroll, the duo attended the Aug. 17 Seattle Seahawks game against the Denver Broncos. On Aug. 20, Siegfried tweeted a sweet message and photo of himself with Hartsock, writing "Just so happy :) @deshartsock thanks @komo4 http://instagram.com/p/dQCMFMgATb/," which contradict the In Touch claims.
As Hartsock and Siegfried settle into life away from cameras, "The Bachelor" 2014 Juan Pablo Galavis, who first captured America's attention as one of Hartsock's suitors, prepares to take his turn as the franchise's next leading man. "The Bachelor" premieres in January.
