The big question as “The Bachelor finale” draws near is: “Who does Sean Lowe pick?”
On March 11, “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison explained why the Texas native was so torn between choosing Catherine Giudici for his wife or proposing to Lindsay Yenter instead, in a People interview.
Up to the very last moments of his finale, sources close to Us Weekly reveal Sean was clueless as to who he would choose as his wife.
Now, Chris Harrison speaks to People. Revealing why he thinks Sean was so nervous when the finale drew near.
He explains: “Usually, you look at the final two and they represent two very different lifestyle choices and it becomes which lifestyle is more appealing to the Bachelor or Bachelorette.”
He adds: “But when you look at Catherine and Lindsay, they offer Sean a very similar life. They are extremely different in terms of looks, families and backgrounds, but both are free, fun-loving, caring, playful, beautiful women who want the same things out of life and seem to be in the same place in life.”
What does Sean finally do to make his final decision?
Chris Harrison sheds some light on this mystery: “I really don't know. In the past, it's been easy to say what the cons are. But with these two, if there are cons, they probably share them, too. When I see Sean with them, I see the same guy. He can really be himself, which is very attractive to him.”
He continues: “His face lights up with both of them. It's a very difficult choice and that's what you will see in the finale. Unlike in years past, when there was a distinct choice and the Bachelor decides what life he wants – this is like splitting hairs.”
It seems even Chris Harrison is convinced Sean Lowe was indeed in love with both Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter right up to the moment he chose who would be his wife.
Tonight, “Bachelor” nation will finally let out a sigh of relief as they learn who Sean Lowe picks at the finale.
