Sean Lowe ended up sending frontrunner contestant Desiree home on the Monday, Feb. 18 episode of "The Bachelor" in one of the saddest good-byes this season.
After much debating with himself on which of the four remaining girls to send home next, Sean finally decided to eliminate Desiree, who was totally devastated. While Sean and Desiree's relationship seemed to be getting serious and was one of the more solid ones, things changed after the unsuspecting Bachelor met the California native's brother...
Calling him a playboy and a fraud, Desiree's tough sibling, Nate, really angered Sean, although he decided against telling the rude brother off as to not ruin the rest of the date. However, things became very tense at the dinner table and Sean had a hard time feeling like part Desiree's family.
Sean has said from the beginning the family is very important to him, which is why he ultimately broke it off with Desiree. The 29-year-old Texan had, no doubt, a very hard time picturing the rude and judgmental Nate as a brother-in-law...
Admitting that he may regret his decision the next day, Sean stood his ground and even when Desiree begged him not to let her go, he reluctantly said good-bye to her.
