Sean Lowe will share his journey to find love on the new season of "The Bachelor" on ABC. He appeared on Emily Maynard's season of "The Bachelorette" over the summer, and he made it to the final three before she sent him home. He is now speaking out about his journey. He said the following, according to Access Hollywood:
"It’s not going to be easy — nobody wants to break some else’s heart. I just have to remind myself that if I’m in this for the right reasons, I might have to break a couple hearts to hopefully find the one that’s for me."
He also spoke about the reasons why he decided to become the man looking for love on "The Bachelor" on ABC. He said the following in a recent interview, according to Wetpaint Entertainment:
"I went on the show staying true to who I am as a person and what I believe are the best decisions for me. I think hopefully it's conveyed to the people who watch the show. Hopefully America can sympathize with the position I'm in."
As for his feelings for Emily Maynard, he admits that they were real, but he has moved on from her and the experience. Being on "The Bachelorette" did allow him to see finding love in this manner is possible. He said the following about Emily and the time he spent on her season:
"I was absolutely heartbroken and I didn’t see it coming. So it was shocking, and then I dealt with heartbreak and I think it was good. It was healthy for me. I think I’m over Emily and now I see that she’s not the one for me."
