You probably remember the former Dallas insurance salesman, Sean Lowe from Emily Maynard’s season of “The Bachelorette”. Well, he’s back for more reality TV dating as part of the newest season of “The Bachelor” which premieres Monday, Jan. 7 on ABC.
In an interview with ESPN from Jan. 4, Sean discussed his football past, his shirtless moments on “The Bachelor” and of course, how he will handle the media as the season gets underway.

When fans last saw Sean Lowe, he was getting his heart stomped on by Emily Maynard on the season finale of “The Bachelorette” 2012. In the end, Emily and Jef Holm got engaged and Sean was left with no roses, and a broken heart.
As with seasons past, Sean will have 26 new bachelorettes from which to choose over the next few months. This time around, Sean will have the roses to hand out.
How will he handle all the publicity, hating, and whatever else comes his way as the show airs? The Emily Maynard reject explained during an ESPN interview:
"As much as I'd like to say I don't pay attention to the press, it's hard not to. I know that negative criticism is coming my way. I'm prepared to handle that. I went on the show staying true to who I am as a person and what I believe are the best decisions for me. I think hopefully it's conveyed to the people who watch the show.“
“Hopefully America can sympathize with the position I'm in. I know I have to break some girls' hearts and I'm put in that tough position. At the end of the day, I was making the best decisions for me."
When Emily and Jef went public with their relationship, things seemed to go south for their relationship. Then, when “The Bachelor” 2012, Ben Flajnik saw his former fiancé Courtney Robertson being nasty to fellow bachelorettes during his seasons, things went downhill, and fast!
