Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici from "The Bachelor" on ABC are getting closer to their big wedding day, and now they have taken their next step together as a couple. On Wednesday, Jan. 8, Catherine Giudici went to her Twitter, and she revealed that the couple had went to get their marriage license. Catherine also hinted that the couple was in Seattle. That is her hometown. She said the following on her Twitter:

Applying for a marriage license is the least romantic thing in the world.

She isn't allowing the business of getting married bring her down though. This morning, she tweeted and continued her wedding countdown. It is just 17 days until Sean and Catherine's wedding. The couple had their couple shower over the weekend, and things are moving forward with the big event.

This is not the first time Catherine mentioned the necessary marriage license. She first mentioned it on her Twitter last week, but it appears that it took the couple this long to actually complete the process. The signing of the marriage license was a part of Ashley Hebert's wedding special, so it is likely fans will see this moment as a part of Sean and Catherine's wedding special as well. Even love needs a legal document.

"The Bachelor" wedding will air on ABC on Jan. 26.
