Rumors started surfacing on the internet this week after Tierra LiCausi was sent home by Sean Lowe, The Bachelor, on Monday (Feb. 11), but today WetPaint breaks the story that Tierra really is engaged.
Tierra's older brother, Tyler, confirmed that she is indeed engaged to someone she dated before she went on The Bachelor. They had dated for a couple of years, had a fight and went their separate ways. After Tierra's boyfriend cooled off, he tried to call her with no luck because ABC will not let the contestants bring along personal cell phones or use a phone while the show is taping.
According to the news report, her boyfriend (name not disclosed for privacy reasons) finally got her on the phone on the day that Tierra was sent home. He wanted to meet her in St. Croix, but she asked him to meet her in Denver instead because she was heading home. This all happened back in November, so it isn't as fast as it sounds.
Tyler reported that Tierra's engagement ring (click to see a photo) is huge with a four caret yellow diamond in the center surrounded by white diamonds. It's gorgeous!
This story sounds like a fairy tale, and we wish the happy couple the best. Bachelor Nation fans can rest assured that Tierra won't be the next The Bachelorette.
