"The Bachelor's" Chris Harrison launches DaVinci of California by Chris Harrison

Los Angeles, CA March 11, 2013 evening, guests gathered at DaVinci of California to celebrate ABC's reality TV personality, The Bachelor’s Chris Harrison collaboration with Christopher Wicks, owner of DaVinci of California and the founder/designer of English Laundry, the launch of the heritage brand’s latest incarnation, DaVinci of California by Chris Harrison. The boutique was packed with friends of the collaborative duo, media and celebrities from The Bachelor Andrew Firestone, Bob Guiney, Desiree Hartsock as well as Gilles Marini from Brother’s & Sisters, popular housewife, Gretchen Rossi (The Housewives of Orange County), head Mommy of the Kardashian Klan, socialite, Kris Jenner (Keeping up with the Kardashians), Jessica Hall (Playboy Radio) and Slade Smiley (The Housewives of Orange County).

Harrison says, “I think there’s a large, untapped market of professional men that [think], ‘I want to look nice, I like fashion. I’m not going to go crazy, I’m not going to have five wardrobe changes before I can pick up my kids or go to football practice, or whatever else, but if it’s easy enough, yeah.”

Fellas can look forward to shopping the ready-to-wear collection that’s functional and versatile. Much like Harrison himself, the host aims to provide true versatility for the modern day "off duty dad." There are an array of styles with off the rack tailored suits from $250 - $500 and formal shirting form $80 - $125. In addition, DaVinci of California by Chris Harrison has a bespoke division of suits and shirts available, made to measure, in Italian and English fabrics; with suits from $1,800 shirts are from $175.

The duo has made shopping extremely easy for the modern multi-facet man. Modern-day men now have access to slim fit, relaxed jackets and slacks, as well as pattered woven shirts and layer-ready Polo’s.

Wicks explains, “We’re focusing on the modern day tailoring of slimmer cut pants and shirts, reflecting Chris’ personal style, but staying true to the brand’s retro appeal,”

When Harrison was asked what three items every man should have in his closet [besides the obvious, DaVinci of California) he replies, "...a fitted suit, good shoes and interesting socks." Take if from one of television's best dressed host and you can do no wrong.
