‘The Bachelor’ recap episode 4: Kisses missed, who does Sean Lowe pick? (Video)

The fourth episode of “The Bachelor” with Sean Lowe aired on Monday, Jan. 28. Sean went from 13 bachelorettes to 11 ladies after a few drama filled moments.

After her face plant last week, Tierra stole the moment again with a temper tantrum. The ladies kind of enjoyed some time on the ice with Sean at the roller derby rink group date. One-on-one dates were half successful for the week. So who does Sean pick at the rose ceremony?

The episode started out with a one-one-one date with Selma (29). Sean picked the Iraqi native for a rock climbing date in the Joshua Tree National Park.

Together the two scaled a fierce mountain and completed their date with a ‘romantic’ date in an RV park. Sean found himself ‘scrambling’ to keep up with Selma as she quickly made it up the mountain side.

Selma decided it was a good time to share her background with “The Bachelor” while they were surrounded by pink flamingos, Christmas lights, and cheesy lawn furniture.

Selma shared she was raised in a strict Muslim home and then broke the news to Sean that he would be leaving their date without a kiss.

Next was the group date to the roller derby rink. Bachelorettes Sean Lowe picked for this date included Lindsay, Robyn, Jackie, Catherine, Amanda, Ashlee, Sarah and Tierra.

Amanda immediately stole the show after a face plant right into the derby floor. She landed chin-first and was immediately taken to the hospital. Fortunately for her, she was able to make it back to the cocktail party just in time to get some alone time with Sean.

Sarah was another unhappy camper during the group date. Having been born with one arm, she found herself at a disadvantage when trying to maintain her balance in the rink.

After Amanda’s drama and Sarah’s insecurity, Sean called off the roller derby competition and decided they would all enjoy a freestyle skating night.

The group date rose is ‘won’ by Tierra when she has a breakdown. She runs to Sean in tears babbling about her inability to be in the house with the rest of the “lying” women.

Sean of course falls for her melodramatic ways and gives her the group date rose just before he jumps into the hot tub with the rest of the ladies – or at least that’s what you think happens next because Tierra rudely interrupted as he was headed for hot tub central with Lindsay.

The second one-one-one date involved Lesley H. “Bachelor” Sean Lowe picked Lesley H. because he wanted to see if the sparks would fly with her if the romance was upped a few notches.

After a shopping spree in a Rodeo Drive boutique, Lesley ended up with new dress complete with a matching purse and pair of shoes. Sean even took her to Neil Lane where she was also lent a diamond necklace for the evening (these matched the diamond earrings she initially received from Sean earlier).

In the end, the "Bachelor" admitted to Lesley H., a die-hard "Pretty Woman" fan, he did not feel a romantic connection with her and she was not given a rose.

During the rose ceremony, Sean sends Amanda home even after she, or rather her chin, took one for the team.

Next week, the drama seems to escalate a bit further as Sean and the remaining 11 bachelorettes set out to explore the very chilly state of Montana. Once again Tierra will steal the show as her accident prone self seems to take a dive into very icy waters.
