Ali left "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love" by choice on episode six, February 8, 2010.

The drama with Ali begin the morning of the rose ceremony when Ali visited Jake's hotel room. She immediately broke down in to tears when she sat down on the couch with him, which caught Jake really off guard.

Ali told Jake that she had just been informed that she was being forced to choose between work and staying on the show. Jake was devastated, and you could tell it was really painful for him when Ali asked him to be a part of her decision. He, of course, couldn't give her much of an answer. He told her she needed to weigh which decision would lead to a bigger regret. He told her he wanted her to stay and take a chance on him, but he then told her he couldn't guarantee her she was going to be the one in the end.

Right before the rose ceremony was set to begin, Ali asked to speak with host Chris Harrison privately. Chris escorted Ali to Jake, and the two talked about what they both wanted. Jake told Ali he didn't want her to go, and Ali told him she feels like no one has ever deserved her love more than him. Her main worry was still that there were three other women still vying for his love. Jake begged and begged her to stay, even saying he would be devastated if she chose to leave, but in the end, she just couldn't stay.

With Ali's decision to leave, for the first time ever the rose ceremony was cancelled.
