The new season of "The Bachelor," "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love," will premiere on Jan. 4, 2010, according to a press release from ABC on Nov. 4, 2009.
Viewers first fell in love with Pavelka on season five of "The Bachelorette." He was a stand out in the beginning, but Jillian eventually let him go, although that wasn't the last time she would see him.
The previously-heartbroken Pavelka is best known for returning to the show after his elimination to warn Jillian about fellow bachelor Wes Hayden, who he claimed had told him he (Hayden) had a girlfriend. Not sure Jillian believed Pavelka, but she must not have because she kept Hayden that week. He was eliminated the following week and admitted in the limo that he had a girlfriend while he was on the show and was only one the show to promote his upcoming CD.
