'The Bachelor:' Jake Pavelka clarifies 'chemistry' comment

Jake Pavelka had many reasons for choosing Vienna Girardi over Tenley Molzahn, but one of the primary motivations behind his move was made fairly clear on "The Bachelor" finale: chemistry. On a recent taping of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" with Vienna at his side, Jake finally made the distinction clear between "physical" and "sexual" chemistry: they're ultimately the same thing:

"Ok, I'll come clean: Physical and sexual chemistry are the same thing...[I] was trying to take the high road and be nice. I didn't want to crush her because she is such a wonderful person."

Vienna also decided to take the opportunity to make something clear on her own -- she's not at all worried about Jake spending time with partner Chelsie Hightower on "Dancing With the Stars" this season: "Chelsea could have him on the dance floor, but he comes home to me!" (Chelsie was speculated to be dating parter Louie Vito last season, but it ultimately was nothing more than a rumor.)

Jake has faced a busy week since "The Bachelor" finale, doing publicity left and right for his old show while also preparing for "Dancing" and facing allegations that he had contacted an ex-girlfriend following the end of filming.

Do you think that Jake handled the Tenley situation the right way? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more news.

This guy is a total disappointment. Anyone who has watched the show KNOWS that her tricks (learned where?) is what kept him at her side. 9 years is a lot of years. Think Jake. She is obviously a very young 23 any way. Too bad. Tenley probably wasn't right either, and I just hoped that you were smart enough to walk away. Big disappointment. For you in the end.

Jake turned out to be the biggest disappointment ever on the Bachelor. His self-righteous claims of what he was looking for (heart appeal, not sex appeal), a woman with strong values and a strong faith...well, obviously now all he can talk about is his amazing "chemistry" or "heat" with slutty Vienna. He has the brain of a 16yr. old guy who thinks of nothing else but the next person he can lay. Jake is a loser and thats why he's 32 and still single. No he was very unclassy in the way he hadled Tenley but she's better off without him.

Jake probably should not have told Tenley he loved her, as she got her hopes up too high. Tenley was 100% sure Jake was going to propose to her, which is just weird. She never ever considered Vienna as a possibility which shows how out of touch with reality Tenley is. Jake shouldn't have led her on. Jake and Vienna make a great couple and I wish them all the luck in the world. Vienna is the perfect woman for him and I think he knew it from the beginning.

Sadly enough I agree with the above comments that Jake turned out to be a disappointment. He came on saying that "God, family, and friends" is the order of his priorities. He went down real fast on that. Tenley called Jake out. She had him pegged. He admitted that he had trouble connecting with women emotionally and that the physical always was first. Watching the show he communicated with Tenley where as he was shown in bed with Vienna more than you ever heard them have a decent conversation. No relationship lasts on the physical alone and that is what it looks like their relationship is based on. If God was first in Jake's life he wouldn't be sleeping with Vienna. If you want to make being engaged a reason to have sex than Jake has lost all credibility. I am so glad Tenley didn't end up with Jake. She is to good for him. Let's talk about who is moral here and stands up for her faith.
